Various Sitecore products support webhooks in various areas, and a system that allows data exchange using Sitecore Connect has been created. The web services introduced here can be supplemented by testing, etc.
About Webhook.site
You can find more details about the site on the following page.
The services on this site are related to post-processing of data received via webhooks. This is a very convenient service that allows you to check the processing of webhooks without having to set up a server.
Just by accessing the site, you will be able to see all the information you need to use it.
Pricing
With the free plan, the URL provided by Webhook.site is only valid for 7 days, and in order to continue using the same URL, you need to sign up for a paid plan. The free plan is a service that is only for trying out, but if you want to check Webhook data, the free plan is sufficient, so I'd like to try it out a little.
Sitecore Forms + Webhook.site
I would like to actually work together to check that it works. First, we will create a form using the template provided with Sitecore Forms, as follows.
Next, we will add a webhook, but we will add the URL as it is, without authentication, as it is posted on the website.
The webhook you created will be linked to Sitecore Forms.
Run the test with the Test webhook.
When you run it, you will see a message saying that the webhook was sent successfully. If you go to the webhook.site site, you will see that the screen has changed as follows because the data has been received.
Summary
This time, we tried to check the process of receiving data via webhook.site. If you want to process the data you receive and link it to another service, you will need to sign up for a paid plan or a service such as Sitecore Connect or Workato, but if you just want to check the data, this is sufficient.
